The fit problem

Most vests fit fine
standing still.

  • 01

    Straps that loosen

You cinch it in the driveway. Ten kilometres later the webbing has crept, the load is swinging, and you're fixing buckles instead of running.

  • 02

    Pressure in the wrong places

Two straps carrying the whole load means two narrow lines of pressure. Wet, salted fabric on the same two spots for hours is where chafe starts.

  • 03

    Nowhere to put anything

Four pockets means choosing between your phone, your gels and your sunglasses — then stopping to dig through the back panel for whichever one lost.

Built around the run

One dial.
Everything else follows.

Get the fit right and every other problem gets smaller. That's the order we built STRYDE in.

Turn the dial. That's the fit.

The STRYDE Dial-Fit runs a cable through the harness, so one turn tightens every anchor point at once — across the chest, under the arms, around the ribs. The load spreads over the whole torso instead of hanging off two straps. Click it a notch tighter on a climb, back it off on a descent, without breaking stride or stopping to re-thread webbing.

Mesh built for hour four

A brushed monofilament mesh that holds its shape soaked and dries fast when it isn't. No seams across the collarbone, no binding at the underarm — the two places runners report chafe first. Spreading the load with Dial-Fit helps here too: no single strap digging in for four hours straight.

And then there's the storage.

Ten pockets — more than most vests on the market carry. Two flask sleeves, a zipped phone pocket, four gel slots, stretch side stash, a rear main compartment and a secure valuables zip. You stop choosing what to leave behind, and everything you need mid-run sits on the front where you can reach it.

Seen before you're heard

Highly reflective detailing wraps the front, back and shoulders, so headlights catch you from every angle — not just from directly behind. If most of your kilometres happen before sunrise or after work, this is the feature you'll use every single run.

And a couple you didn't ask for

We thought of it anyway.

Built-in whistle

Moulded into the sternum buckle, where you can reach it without looking. Mandatory kit for a lot of Australian trail races — one less thing to pack.

Rear pole straps

Stow trekking or running poles across the back and keep both hands free on the climb. Useful well beyond race day if you hike.

Ran the Great Ocean Walk with 1.5L up front and forgot it was there. The Dial-Fit is the difference — nothing shifts on descents.

I'm short in the torso and every other vest rides up on me. This one cinches down properly and the flasks sit where I can actually drink from them.

Took a couple of runs to dial the straps in. Once it was set, best vest I've owned — and I've been through four.

Bought it for one half marathon and it's been on every long run since. My phone sits flat in the front pocket instead of swinging around.

Twenty kilometres in the humidity and nothing rubbed at the neck. That alone is worth it — my last vest left marks every single time.

Before you buy

Questions.

Is it one size?

Yes. The Dial-Fit harness adjusts across a 76–124cm chest. Because the dial tensions every anchor point at once, you're not matching your body to a fixed size — you're pulling the vest in to meet it.

Will it bounce?

Not when it's dialled in. Because the tension spreads across the whole torso rather than sitting on two straps, there's no slack left for the load to swing into. If it does move, turn the dial a click or two — you can do it mid-run.

Flasks or bladder?

Flasks are faster to refill and easier to drink from at pace, which suits most road and shorter trail runs. A bladder carries more without the front-load. The vest is set up for both, so you can switch depending on the run.

What if the dial breaks?

It's covered by the two-year warranty alongside the seams, zips and buckles. Post it back to us and we'll send a replacement.

Will my phone fit in the vest?

Yes — there's a dedicated zipped front pocket sized to fit most phones, including with a case on.

What if it doesn't work out?

Send it back within 30 days for a full refund, even if you've sweated in it. Return shipping is on us and you don't need to justify it.
